Social media is a powerful and ubiquitous tool. Get together with other players who dare to use social media to provoke one another, laugh together, and build a following.
This workshop is perfect for anyone who has made a resolution to blog, tweet, update, and post more in 2013. Great for the beginner, experienced, or advanced social media user.
Session 1 – Getting To Know You on LinkedIn
Wednesday, June 5th from 6:00 – 8:00 pm
Get your LinkedIn profile up top.
Gain connections. Update your information. Discuss and learn how to build your LinkedIn network in this fun, creative, professional community.
Session 2 – Getting To Tweet You on Twitter
Wednesday, June 12th from 6:00 – 8:00 pm
Get into the tweeting habit. Gain followers. Follow others.
Learn about hashtags, chats, trending topics.
Discuss and learn best practices for building your Twitter following with this lovely community of writers.

We’re meeting in a private club on Gramercy Park so be on your best behavior. But take a risk as you link, connect, tweet, retweet, mention, and share your status updates.
Bring your laptop, pad, or smartphone. If you don’t have a profile pic, we’ll take one!
Location & Registration
We’ll meet in the Card Room of the Players Club, a special place. Heads up: The Players Club is an old school private club. So ladies and gentleman, “business casual is the guideline, and athletic attire is not allowed. Men are expected to wear a collared shirt and slacks or jacket and tie.”

About the Instructor
Mary Beth Coudal is an award-winning journalist, blogger, writer, director and copywriter. Her essays have appeared in the New York Times, Salon.com, and Self magazine. In past lives, Coudal was a talk show host, stand up comedian, and the senior writer for the United Methodist Church. She now owns and operates Boot Camp 4 Writers.
